The Jr. High Mission VBS trip is July 7-11 each morning. We’ll be doing mission projects around the Kansas City area during Vacation Bible School. Cost: $10
Sr. High Hot Summer Nights is Back! After Youth Group this week we’ll head over to the Morris’ to swim, snack, and/or just hangout. Bring a swimsuit and towel. Directions will be handed out after Sr. High Youth Group. Questions? Call Phil at 729-1215
Interested in hosting a Sr. High Hot Summer Nights? – (Pending parent sign-ups) After Sr. High Youth Group during the summer. Hot Summer Nights is when we go to someone’s house after Youth Group to just hang out, play games…etc. It’s a different house each week, and is hosted by one of our Sr. High Parents. (Note if there’s no Youth Group, then there’s no Hot Summer Nights). Parents, if you would like to open up your home this summer, then contact Phil at 729-1215 or respond to this e-mail. Open dates: July 13, 20, 27, Aug. 10 & 17.
Worlds of Fun Summer Fun! We’re planning on 3 more day trips to Worlds of Fun this summer! July 16 & 30, and August 13 (note: all dates listed land on a Wednesday). We’ll meet here at the church at 9:00 a.m. to load up the bus (let Phil know if you need to be dropped off early). You will need to bring a sack lunch or money for lunch at WoF. Bring a water bottle, we’ll have a drink cool with cold water that you can refill (Worlds of Fun will let you bring in a water bottle). We’ll return to Aldersgate around 6:00 p.m. Friends are always welcome. If you or your friend need a day pass, I can order them from my wife (Kristal). She can get discount tickets at work for: $27 or 29 each, but I need to know by Monday before the trip. Otherwise we can stop at Price Chopper and get them for $32. Needing a Season Pass! I have extra available so let me know if you’re interested.
