New Summer Youth Group schedule starting May 31: (This isn’t your big brother or sister’s youth group anymore!)
5:30-6:00
open gym (Come bring a friend for some basketball,
ultimate Frisbee, dodge ball…etc)
6:00-7:00 Combined youth group: New lessons called
“The Passion of the Heart” with Louie Giglio
7:30-8:00 Combined youth worship – New songs, new
format, new passion!
8:00-10:00 Hot Summer Movie nights (each week well
have a different movie to watch in the youth room
theater!)
2009 Summer Schedule:
May 24:
Memorial Day Weekend (No Youth Group)
May 28: Summer kick-off to Worlds of Fun (we’ll
load up the bus at 9:00 and return around 9:00) for
those who have dual passes, Oceans of Fun is only
open from 11-6
May 31: New Youth Group Schedule starts (see below)
May 31: New Special Lesson Series on The Heart of
Passion with Louie Giglio
June 3: Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun 5:30
June 14: Afternoon with the
Royals
and
Mercy Me!
12:30-??? Tickets are $10 and open to the whole
family (This game will sell out so we need to RSVP
by May 18 so we can get seats together) Cost
$10/person and it includes ticket, transportation on
the bus, and parking fee. You will need to bring a
sack lunch or money for food in the stadium.
June 17: Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun till 5:30
June 21: Leave for Camp in Minnesota (No Youth
Group)
June 27: Return from Minnesota
July 1: Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun till 5:30

Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun trips: We’re doing it again this summer. 6 times throughout the summer we’ll load up the bus and head out to Worlds of Fun and/or Oceans of Fun. We’re planning on parking on the Oceans of Fun side so you’ll have the option of going to either park or both. Friends are always welcome! See summer schedule (above) for dates and times. We recommend getting a season pass. You can use your youth account to help offset the cost. If you want to do that, then please let us know so we can order you one. Also let us know which one you want (single park pass or dual). We don’t receive any special discounts as a church/group so we suggest you get them on your own if you’re not going to use your youth account.
